'Dad' as we all called David Thomas, was born in Neath in 1935. David was a chef by trade, and once old enough, joined the Royal Marines, with whom he served for 22 years. David met and married Mildred Anne Rees, and their love led to three children, David, Susan and Anthony. David Thomas was a hard working father that provided well for his family, he was a gentleman to all. Most of all, 'Dad' is missed by his family, and is remembered as the solid, strong, reliable and loving man he was. He is specially remembered as a much loved grandfather to Steven, Amy and Ellie.
